Forts and Friends!

I had a great great weekend spent with Ravi, Sandy, and Sabin (and a little Matt).
We were SUPER busy with lots of relaxing activities!!
Friday
Sandy and Monty picked me up
and took me to a nearby city to some cutecute antique stores she knew about!
And no, we didn't leave that little guy in the car! Her mom came to get Monty to play at her house.
We found some super cute things and I was totally excited!
I found lots of cute buttons and the CUTEST cross stitch:
There was also this cutie, but I didn't get it because, well--what would I even do with it?!

At the first store we went into, there were these two guys looking around together.

Okay, so then we went to the next store and were looking around. In the back room, we see them again. We go up to the top floor, and see them again! He makes a comment about whether we're finding any hidden treasures or not (we weren't, unfortunately), and then we go to the basement, and as we're heading back up, he's coming down the stairs and makes a comment about finding "The manly stuff" down there. Haha.

After we went to those stores, we went to a SUPER cute toy store with loads of adorable and unique toys to play with! There was another shop she wanted to take me to (the one where she found the pickle button), but it was closed--even though their hours said they should be open--ugh! So instead we went to a little coffee shop and had Banana Cream Pie drinks! They were tasty, but pretty much just milk and flavoring, and I was missing the coffee part! As we were sitting and planning out things to eat and do in our FORT!!! the guys walked by again and waved!

Now, this isn't all that weird, considering all this stuff is within a few blocks of each other, but just wait!!

So after we were done there, we headed back towards home and had some miscommunication (really, he was being kind of crazy) with a friend. We went to get groceries to make potato tacos! YUM! And of course, PIE! We waited for Ravi to get home, found out the other person who was coming, wasn't coming for another hour, so we got busy building our FORT!!!
Sabey LOVED sleeping in there.
We had yummy food and watched Gilmore Girls and Sandy and I cuddled up under a blanket and fell asleep on one of the couches.

Saturday
Ravi and I got up and did some errands and then had a nice little breakfast together to use up one of our gift cards!
Then, we went to pick up Sandy and go back to the antique shop we had gone to the day before because I didn't get something that I had really wanted! It also gave us a chance to stop in the other shop that was closed Friday. I got my owl napkin holder
and some more buttons at the other store. Sandy found some treasures as well!
Ravi doesn't even drink this, but he was looking at it...
She said she had always wanted to live in this house when she was little. Because it's yellow. She's adorable! Then, we went back to downtown Dayton to look through a music store that's closing.
We went to two other stores and were heading back to the car. We were crossing the street, and this guy driving rolls his window down and says, "I think you really are following me!"
IT WAS THE SAME GUY FROM THE OTHER TOWN!
We saw him like, six times and in two different cities that are like 20 miles apart on two different days! CRAZY!

Sandy and I dropped off Ravi and headed to Michaels and found some super cute stuff to craft with!
We had potato tacos, again. And pie! We colored cute wooden letters (W for whale for me and P for panda for Sandy--we also got Ravi R for raccoon because he loves them sooo much!) and watched tons of Gilmore Girls and knit and made friendship bracelets. We are little kids and I love it!

Sunday
I don't have any plans for today, so I might try making some more bows and who knows what else!
Hope your days have been filled with fun!
